Description
Taggiasco Extravir Gin is the first gin with 100% Italian Taggiasche olives and is distilled at low temperature (about 60°C) for avoid variations in the flavors of the ingredients.
This gin was born from an experiment done by chance which allowed us to discover that olives can make excellent botanicals for gin. And so, after a year of experimentation, the perfect balance between the scents was reached and Taggiasco ExtravirGin will in fact surprise for the excellent balance between the notes of juniper and the sweet ones of the Taggiasca olive distillate, sublimated by a final spicy note given by pink pepper.
In Gin Tonic, in Negroni and in many other gin-based cocktails it can give a distinctive and absolutely pleasant touch.
Taste profile:
Nose: fresh and salty with hints of olives, rosemary and citrus. Quite intense and aromatic but at the same time refreshing.
Palate: full gustatory profile, good body, shows some complexity, dry and salty finish.
Ingredients:
Water, distillate of Italian Juniper berries and Taggiasche Olives (30% with 3% of Taggiasche Oives + 1,5% of Juniper), alcohol, natural flavors.
